SOCIAL NETWORKING
Island Press - As the former E-Content Editor for Island Press, I established the publisher's first foray into Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, MySpace, and WiserEarth. This was in 2007, a year after Facebook opened up its network to the non-college student market. I also created Google AdWords campaigns, wrote/edited weekly e-blasts/e-newsletters, and hosted and produced the organization's podcast series.
Virginia Production Alliance - Grew the organization's Facebook profile by 500%, and established its Twitter profile.
Virginia Living Magazine - Established and managed the launch's for its Facebook page and Twitter profile. Also did this for VirginiaLivingDeals.com.
...And, I have written about social networking and new media trends for Mediabistro.com.
